Perfect Stay with a Cozy Atmosphere
We truly enjoyed our stay here! The breakfast was outstanding—delicious and filling. After a long day of exploring, we looked forward to unwinding at Biddy Mulligan's pub nearby, where the staff were exceptionally friendly. A rubber mat in the shower made it much safer for us. Bring your own patterned mat for style!

Grassmarket Hotel offers a charming, cozy atmosphere with friendly staff and a fantastic location. The quirky decor made me feel at home, although the noise from the nearby pub can be disruptive late at night. Be prepared for the stairs as there’s no elevator to the upper floors.

It's a decent option for a short getaway in Edinburgh that offers good value. Enjoyed the quirky wallpaper and comfy super king bed during my stay. If you like quiet nights, consider staying on the upper floors.

Staying at this hotel was a delight! The staff were incredibly welcoming and the location was perfect for exploring the Royal Mile and visiting attractions like the National Museum of Scotland with my family and little dog. The cozy room was perfect after a day of wanderings.
In my wife’s opinion, having more variety in snacks would be great for families with children.

The quirky decor and lively vibe made my stay enjoyable, with the nearby pub providing a fun atmosphere. However, the bathroom door was oddly designed, and dragging my luggage up stairs was a hassle.

Perfect for solo travelers looking for comfort
Location is perfect if you are attending the Fringe. They got a lovely big bathroom, very comfortable bed. 'The staff were welcoming and gave great tips on local pubs. I really felt at home there. The decor was quirky, kind of refreshing in a way, which made it easier to relax after long days.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but, you know, you get what you pay for.
